D12 x 9cm Mammillaria carnea is a species belonging to the family Cactaceae . It is endemic to Hidalgo , Querétaro , San Luis Potosí , Tamaulipas in Mexico . Its natural habitat is arid deserts .Mammillaria compressa is a succulent caper plant . It is a greenish gray color with a round shape that reaches a size between 15 and 20 cm long and 5 to 8 centimeters in diameter. The areolas have a rhombic shape, sometimes tetragonal with a length of up to 10 millimeters and a width of up to 8 millimeters, with 4-6 radial thorns of 2 to 7 centimeters long and of chalk white color to brown. The central spines are not present. The flowers are small, 1 to 1.5 centimeters wide, bell-shaped and pale pink to purple. The fruits are round bright red. The seeds are brown. Easy care, do not over water.
